01 About Kampüs+
Kampüs+ is an independent mobile application built to make university campus life easier. Depending on availability and ongoing development, the App may offer features such as:
- Class schedule
- Cafeteria/dining hall information
- Campus and building information
- Transportation and bus information
- Announcements
- Academic staff directory
- Q&A and help content
- Lost and found
- Student community features
- Events and community content
- Maps and location-based features
- Notifications and reminders
- User profile and preferences
- Redirects to university systems
- Other supporting features
Features within Kampüs+ may change, be improved, removed, or added to over time.
02 Relationship With Official Institutions
Kampüs+ is an independent application. It is not the official application of any university, the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK), any public institution, or any other official body, unless explicitly stated otherwise, and it does not represent these institutions.
Information about universities or other institutions provided within the App is offered for the convenience of users. Kampüs+ does not replace any university's official website, student information system, or institutional IT system. For official procedures, users must rely on the relevant institution's own official channels.
03 Account Creation
Certain features of Kampüs+ may require creating a user account. By creating an account, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
- The security of your account credentials
- All activity carried out through your account
If you believe your account has been used without your authorization, you should contact the Kampüs+ support team as soon as possible.
04 User Information
You agree that any information you voluntarily provide within Kampüs+ — including but not limited to your full name, student number, email address, phone number, department, grade, GPA, and profile photo — is accurate, current, and lawful. Sharing another person's personal information without authorization is prohibited.
05 User-Generated Content
Kampüs+ may include features that allow users to create or share content, such as:
- Community posts
- Comments
- Questions
- Event content
- Lost-and-found listings
- Photos uploaded by users
- Other user-generated content
Content created by users must be lawful and must not infringe on the rights of third parties.
06 Prohibited Uses
Kampüs+ may not be used for any of the following purposes:
- Attempting unauthorized access to other users' accounts
- Sharing others' personal information without authorization
- Creating fake accounts
- Impersonating another person
- Fraudulent activity
- Threatening or harassing content
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
- Content that sexually exploits or endangers the safety of children
- Promoting illegal activities
- Distributing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Attempting to bypass the App's security mechanisms
- Misusing the App's source code, APIs, or infrastructure without authorization
- Using bots or similar automated means to abuse the system
- Disrupting the App's operation or negatively affecting other users' experience
- Collecting information from the App for commercial or abusive purposes without authorization
- Sharing content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
Violations of these rules may result in content removal and temporary or permanent restriction of the associated user account.
07 Accuracy of Information
Kampüs+ aims to keep information within the App as accurate and up to date as possible. However, information such as class times, bus schedules, cafeteria menus, announcements, event details, academic staff information, campus information, and map data may change or contain errors.
Information within Kampüs+ is provided for informational and convenience purposes. For official matters, exams, classes, transportation, academic processes, or important decisions, users must verify information through the official sources of the relevant institution.
08 University Systems and WebViews
Kampüs+ may redirect to, or display via in-app webviews, university or third-party systems. Transactions carried out on these systems are handled by the relevant institution or service provider's own systems. Kampüs+ is not responsible for the availability, content, security, service continuity, or data changes of these third-party systems. When performing official transactions, users are subject to the relevant institution's own terms and policies.
09 Maps and Location Features
Kampüs+ may use map and location services for certain features. The accuracy of location-based features may depend on your device, GPS, internet connection, map data, and third-party services. You acknowledge that location information may not always be precise or up to date. Map and navigation information is provided for assistance purposes only.
10 Notifications and Reminders
Kampüs+ may send notifications with your permission. Reminders created by the user may operate through local notifications scheduled on the device. Notifications may not be delivered on time due to the device's operating system, app permissions, battery-saving settings, manufacturer restrictions, or other technical reasons. For this reason, you should not rely solely on Kampüs+ notifications for time-sensitive matters such as exams, classes, or events.
11 Third-Party Services
Kampüs+ relies on third-party technology and service providers to deliver its services, including but not limited to:
- Google Firebase
- Google Sign-In
- Map and location services
- Cloud infrastructure
- Web services
- Other technical service providers
These third-party services have their own terms of use and privacy policies. When using them, users may also be subject to their respective terms.
12 Advertising
Kampüs+ may offer advertising in the future. If ads are implemented, ad providers' own terms of use and privacy policies may apply. Advertising content is not created or controlled directly by Kampüs+, and Kampüs+ is not responsible for third-party products or services shown in ads.
13 Paid Features and Premium Services
Kampüs+ may offer paid features, premium membership, or purchase options such as ad removal in the future. If such features are used, information such as price, subscription duration, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and refund conditions will be shown to the user at the time of purchase. Purchases made through app store platforms may also be subject to the relevant store's own terms and payment policies.
14 Intellectual Property
The design, logo, "K+" brand elements, graphics, software, original content, and other intellectual property of Kampüs+ belong to Kampüs+ or the relevant rights holders, unless otherwise stated. Without the express written permission of Kampüs+, these elements may not be:
- Copied
- Distributed
- Used for commercial purposes
- Modified and republished
- Used in another application or service
Rights to third-party trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.
15 Responsibility for User Content
Users are solely responsible for content they share within Kampüs+. Kampüs+ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or legal compliance of user-generated content. Kampüs+ reserves the right to remove content it deems to violate these Terms of Use or applicable law.
16 Suspension or Termination of Accounts
Kampüs+ may temporarily or permanently restrict or terminate a user account in cases such as:
- Violation of these Terms of Use
- Unlawful use
- Threatening the safety of other users
- Misuse of the App
- Suspected fraud or malicious activity
- Activity threatening the App's security
- Unauthorized access attempts
Upon account termination, data associated with the user will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal requirements.
17 Availability of the Service
Kampüs+ does not guarantee that the service will always operate without interruption or error. Temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- Maintenance work
- Server issues
- Internet connectivity problems
- Interruptions in third-party services
- Mobile operating system changes
- Technical errors
- Security incidents
- Force majeure events
Kampüs+ may temporarily or permanently modify certain features for development or maintenance purposes.
18 Limitation of Liability
Kampüs+ does not guarantee against all direct or indirect damages that may arise from use of the App. In particular, applicable limitations of liability under relevant law will apply with respect to damages resulting from:
- Incorrect or outdated campus information
- Changed class or exam schedules
- Incorrect transportation information
- Undelivered notifications
- Map or location errors
- Third-party service interruptions
- Incorrect information entered by users
- Transactions between users
Kampüs+ is not a substitute for any official university information system.
19 Security
Users agree to use the App securely and lawfully. Attempts to threaten the App's security or access other users' data are prohibited. If a security vulnerability or serious security issue is discovered, users are encouraged to report it to the Kampüs+ team as soon as possible.
20 Privacy Policy
For details on how personal data is processed, please refer to the Kampüs+ Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of these Terms of Use.
21 Changes to These Terms
Kampüs+ may update these Terms of Use as needed. Updated terms may be published within the App or on Kampüs+'s official channels. For significant changes, users will be notified through reasonable means where possible. Continued use of the App after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of those updated terms.
22 Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the applicable legislation in force in the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes between the user and Kampüs+ will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent authorities, without prejudice to applicable consumer protection laws and other relevant regulations.
